Joni Mitchell is one of the most influential recording artists of the late twentieth century, and next month will mark her 74th birthday.
Fans can take a look back at her extraordinary career with the help of a brand new book; Reckless Daughter tracks the iconic singer-songwriter from her childhood in post war Saskatchewan, all the way to present day.
Lindsey sat down with the man behind the book, David Yaffe, to learn more about the book; including how to even get started when you’re writing about someone whose career has spanned over 50 years.
Yaffe also opened up about the many different people he spoke to while writing the book and how Mitchell actually cut him out of her life for a period of time.
