Almost all women need tampons and pads, but not everyone can afford them.
Feminine hygiene products aren’t cheap, yet women have to pay out of their own pocket each month for these items. Depending where you live, there could be an even bigger tax in order to buy them.
A group of people is working together to try to help those who struggle financially to get these products every month.
Enter Tampon Tuesday.
On the second Tuesday of every month, networking events take place across Canada that feature anything from speakers to breakfast. The ticket for admission is a box of feminine hygiene products, which go to the frontline agencies and food banks to help women on a daily basis.
