Jan Redford's 'End of the Rope' could be the next 'Wild'

Sometimes all the motivation you need is someone telling you you can't do something, just to prove you can.

That's what happened to Jan Redford as a teenager, except her rebellious reaction was to scale a cliff. No equipment. No training. No adults. And, apparently, no problem.

So began a life-long love affair with climbing; one that would take Redford through mountains, marriage and motherhood with some devestating losses along the way.

She wrote about it all in End of the Rope, and she recently saw down with Anne-Marie to talk all about it.
