WILL I HAVE THE OPTION TO SELECT VIDEO QUALITY SO I CAN ENSURE I DON'T GO OVER MY MONTHLY INTERNET BANDWIDTH ALLOCATION?

CTV.ca and the CTV App were designed for the best TV-watching experience possible. Your connection speed is detected automatically and you receive the highest quality stream your connection can support.. If you have concerns about video streaming consuming your Internet bandwidth allocation, you have the option to use your set-top box.

WILL STREAMING CONTENT ON CTV.CA’S MOBILE SITE OR ON THE CTV APP USE MY CELLULAR DATA PLAN?

Use of the CTV.ca mobile site or the CTV App on your mobile device will count towards your cellular data plan. We recommend connecting to a Wi-Fi network whenever possible, however, usage will count towards your Internet data plan if connected by Wi-Fi on your personal connection (i.e.: at home).

HOW MUCH BANDWIDTH WILL I USE WHILE STREAMING VIDEO ON CTV.CA OR THE CTV APP?

Streaming video can generally use between 0.2 and 0.9 GB per hour of viewing.

CAN I SET VIDEO QUALITY SETTINGS ON A PER DEVICE BASIS?

The video player automatically sets the video quality according to your device's ability and the speed of the connection you use so you can enjoy your show in the best quality available.
