TORONTO — Four men convicted in the Bandidos biker gang mass slaying are appealing their convictions.

Dwight Mushey and Michael Sandham were convicted last month in London, Ont., of eight counts each of first-degree murder.

Frank Mather and Marcelo Aravena were convicted of seven counts each of first-degree murder and one count each of manslaughter.

Those four men -- who were convicted alongside Brett Gardiner and Wayne Kellestine -- have filed inmate notices of appeal with the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

All six men were sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.

In his notice of appeal Sandham writes that the verdicts "were perverse and make no sense."
