Rachelle Lefevre, Hugh Dillon to be presenters at Giller gala

TORONTO "Twilight" star Rachelle Lefevre and "Flashpoint" actor Hugh Dillon will be among the presenters at next week's Scotiabank Giller Prize gala.
Lefevre, who also stars in the upcoming "Barney's Version," will present Anne Michaels's "The Winter Vault."
Dillon will introduce Colin McAdam's "Fall."
Joseph Boyden, last year's Giller winner for "Through Black Spruce" will speak on behalf of Kim Echlin's novel, "The Disappeared."
Author Wayne Johnston will be on hand in support of Linden MacIntyre's "The Bishop's Man."
Broadcaster and author Paula Todd will talk about Annabel Lyon's "The Golden Mean."
The show will be broadcast live on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and BookTelevision and on ctv.ca.
The Giller is awarded to the best Canadian novel or short story collection published in English, as chosen by a panel of judges.
This year's judges are Russell Banks, Victoria Glendinning and Alistair MacLeod.
The winner receives $50,000, while the other four finalists receive $5,000.

I applaud the budget, even though Health Care and education may stay unscathed. Sadly this cannot last and I worry to later this year where cuts will become enviable. If anything, this provides the Wildrose Alliance plenty of ammo when an election is called.
