At least four people have become sick due to E. coli that is believed to be linked to a Wendy's restaurant in Fredericton.
Public health officials in Fredericton say the outbreak is possibly traced back to salads that were prepared there before Oct. 27.
Anyone who had a salad at the 967 Prospect Street location should go to the doctor if they have symptoms like severe cramping, diarrhea, abdominal pain or vomiting.
To avoid contaminating others, anyone showing those symptoms should follow good hygiene practices, such as washing their hands and staying away from people with weakened immune systems.
Public health officials say they believe it was contained to the particular location.
The restaurant has passed inspection and is now working with public health officials to minimize any further risks.

I applaud the budget, even though Health Care and education may stay unscathed. Sadly this cannot last and I worry to later this year where cuts will become enviable. If anything, this provides the Wildrose Alliance plenty of ammo when an election is called.
