A 39-year-old Canadian woman has been arrested for extradition to the United States for a case in which she allegedly assaulted Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio with a weapon over four years ago.
DiCaprio had his neck and ear slashed with a jagged piece of glass on June 20, 2005, as he left a party at the home of producer Rick Salomon, Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend.
DiCaprio, the star of such films as "Titanic'' and "The Aviator,'' needed seven stitches to his neck and 10 to his left ear.
On July 12, 2005 an arrest warrant was issued for Wilson but police were unable to locate her until The Los Angeles Times, acting on a tip, reported in January 2008 that she was being held in Canada.
The Los Angeles District Attorney's office contacted the Toronto Fugitive Squad requesting assistance locating the suspect, as she was believed to be in Toronto.
Aretha Stephanie Wilson is currently being held in custody. She was facing one count of assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles, but was later charged for three cases of assault in Canada some 13 months after an incident.

It puts me at unease and adds to my anxiety. CERN acknowledges that there are miniscule risks -- they admit to it so please spare the convoluted retorts.
