Kelly Clarkson, Alexisonfire to perform at MMVAs

TORONTO — This year's MuchMusic Video Awards will get a boost from the first-ever American Idol.
Two-time Grammy Award-winning pop singer Kelly Clarkson will perform at the June 21 bash in Toronto.
Five-time MMVA winners Billy Talent have also been added to the lineup, as well as Alexisonfire and Shiloh.
Electro diva Lady Gaga had already been announced as a performer, while Disney teen-poppers the Jonas Brothers will host and perform at the show.
Nickelback and R&B singer Danny Fernandes lead with five nominations going into the show, followed by Vancouver-based pop-punk band Marianas Trench with four nods.

I applaud the budget, even though Health Care and education may stay unscathed. Sadly this cannot last and I worry to later this year where cuts will become enviable. If anything, this provides the Wildrose Alliance plenty of ammo when an election is called.
