The Top 10 move into the Idol Mansion!

The Top 10 are indeed living the 'Idol' life.

After staying in a swanky downtown hotel for the first three weeks of the competition, the competitors are now residing in a mansion in one of Toronto's most elite neighbourhoods.

The seven-bedroom mansion that has housed celebrities like John Travolta features an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, two saunas, a racquetball/basketball court, a home theatre and fitness room. The sprawling backyard has plenty of green space for the Idols to lounge on or play a game of tennis on the full-size court. The mansion also has nine bathrooms, three fireplaces, an outdoor waterfall and more living rooms than you can count.

So how are the Idols enjoying their new abode?

"I don't really know what it's like to live in the Idol mansion yet, we haven't spent much time here," said Sebastian Pigott with a laugh. "I mean it's like a dream world where you've got everything you want and what you don't have you can ask for it."

Earl Stevenson had a similar sentiment.

"I just moved in two days ago, pretty much went to bed every night but it looks real special so I'm pretty pumped to take a swim and hang out," said Earl. "The basement (is the best part). The big theatre and the pool."

Drew Wright was also looking forward to these amenities.

"I love the home theatre, I'm a big movie fan and the pool's pretty cool," said Drew. "It would be great to enjoy it but maybe we'll have the chance to do that later this week."

The Idols moved in two days after being named the Top 10 and couldn't believe their eyes when they pulled up to the mansion.

"I think it was when we pulled up to the gates and we had to buzz in to open the gates up and it's like you know you're at an expensive place when you've got to buzz in to get in. And then we walked downstairs and saw the whole indoor pool, hot tub setup, that was just pretty sweet," said Mitch MacDonald.

"I have never in my life seen a house like this," said Theo Tams. "It's unreal. It's a gorgeous place. I'm rooming with Adam right now and he constantly keeps me laughing and I've been out on the tennis court with Mark a few times and Amberly is constantly beating me on the basketball court so it's a good time."

Amberly Thiessen has also never been in a house like this.

"It's really cool to live in a big house, I've never really experienced that because I'm from a small town but it's really fun and we're all tight," said Amberly. "The first evening we had nothing to do and we had all this space and we were all just walking around, not even knowing what to do."

Katherine St-Laurent said the first night was "overwhelming."

"It was really, really big. There's a lot of things to do, I'm never going to get bored for sure," said Katherine. "I think the tennis court is the best part because I play tennis and the pool is relaxing."

Adam Castelli said it's a nice place to call home at the end of a long day.

"When you work so hard and all the stuff that goes into the show and then you come back here it's nice to have all these luxuries to get charged back up again and then go back at it," said Adam.

"It's been lavish," added Mookie Morris. "I really like just the open backyard. It's really nice to have a green area."

For Mark Day, it's a chance to bond with his other Idol competitors.

"The house is way too big," said Mark. "I mean I'm a big boy and all but this house is pretty humongous and I haven't been able to make full use of the pool yet but ... the best part of the house is that we can all be together in one house. We can all have breakfast together, we can all say goodnight to each other, it's like we're a family now."
