Prince Harry showed up with an entourage at a Calgary nightclub Thursday, then returned later in the evening for a VIP session with one of the hostesses, says the manager of one of Alberta's legendary hotspots.

It was about 12:30 a.m. when Prince Harry showed up on ladies' night.

"He came in, went up to one of the bars and it didn't take him very long to take quite a shine to one young lady we have working there," Doug Donald, Cowboys Niteclub general manager, told CTV Newsnet on Friday.

Donald said the girl that caught the 22-year-old's eye was hostess Cherie Cymbalisty, who works at the hotspot that boasts the sign: "Through these doors walk the most beautiful women in Alberta."

Cymbalisty told The Calgary Sun that she asked Harry if he was the prince and he responded by showing her his army ID.

She also said Harry kissed her on her cheek.

"It was hot,'' she reportedly said of the encounter.

The prince and his buddies, accompanied by RCMP protection, refused an offer for a private VIP section and left after closing down the bar at 2 a.m. However, Harry returned with a friend and was ushered up to a cigar lounge.

"He came back for a little visit -- we were accommodating that way. We brought him in when it's just the staff doing their thing at the end of the night, closing up," said Donald.

"He had the opportunity to get just a little private time in a little area we call our upstairs cigar bar... he had a little bit of fun, got to talk to some of the girls, in particular got to spend a little time with Cherie and just have a little chat, he was well-behaved."

Harry, who is said to be still dating Chelsy Davy, reportedly acted like the perfect gentleman.

"I know everyone thinks he's a little rascal at times but he was very much a gentleman, just two young kids having some fun," Donald said.

But he added that Cymbalisty would "look great on that dollar bill," said Donald.

Harry, dressed in jeans, a white T-shirt and a Boston Red Sox cap was initially carded by the doorman who didn't recognize him.

Cymbalisty is worried that Harry won't make good on his promise to return to the bar, said Donald.

"I know Harry wants to come back this weekend and Cherie's all concerned that he won't come back because of all the media splash so we are going to do our best to make sure that his privacy and her privacy is respected," he said.

Harry is in Alberta for training at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, near Medicine Hat.
