TORONTO The 16-year-old daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky has launched a modelling career. Just as her mother Janet was 17 years ago, Paulina Gretzky is a Flare cover girl.
The blond beauty will appear in the magazine's August issue. It's the latest accomplishment for the daughter of The Great One.
She's recently wrapped shooting a small part in Alpha Dog, starring Justin Timberlake and Bruce Willis.
And last year, she tried her hand at singing, performing the national anthem at a semifinal game during last year's World Cup of Hockey.
"Paulina has a real passion for singing, acting as well as modelling, so Janet and I have always encouraged her to work hard and follow her dreams," Wayne Gretzky said in a statement.
Paulina's famous parents - and one of her four siblings - are also featured in a photo in the magazine.
Janet Gretzky was known as a model and actress when she married her hockey-playing husband in 1988.
