"Missing Pieces" are short clips -- about three minutes each -- and feature the stars of "Lost" in original scenes created by executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. The segments are rich with plot details and character elements. While they don't necessarily run in sequential order, "Missing Pieces" fills in some answers about the "mythology" of the island. For example, "Jack, Meet Ethan. Ethan? Jack" reveals the first meeting that Jack (Matthew Fox) has with Ethan, who brings him a case of medical supplies long before he's revealed to be an "Other." Jack is featured again in "The Watch," which is a flashback to a conversation with his late father, Christian. Other episodes hint at what happened with Walt while he was held prisoner by the "Others," while another lays out the details of Michael's deal with Walt's captors in "Room 23." The episodes debuted last November online only in the U.S., and were released weekly until the season four premiere of "Lost" in February. "Missing Pieces" can now be found here in the CTV Broadband player or under the "Missing Pieces" tab on the embedded player on the "Lost" home page. "Lost" currently airs Thursday nights on CTV and will finish the fourth season with a two-hour finale on May 29. The last four episodes of "Lost" are also available online for streaming at CTV.ca, as well as recaps of every episode of season four. |
