Canadian actress Jessalyn Gilsig has been tapped as a possible love interest on "CSI: NY." The Montreal-born Gilsig made a big splash on "Nip/Tuck" as Christian Troy's (Julian McMahon) sex addict lover who contracts HIV and gives birth to Christian's son. Gilsig returns in season five of "Nip/Tuck," which is currently airing on Friday nights at 10 p.m. ET on CTV. When "CSI: NY" returns with new episodes in April, Gilsig will be front and centre as the unnamed love interest for Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise), the head of New York's crime scene investigation department. The character is reportedly an employee at the mayor's office, and may appear in three episodes, with the possibility of returning next season. "CSI: NY" airs in Canada on CTV. |
