Since I was a little kid but I first began to take my singing to heart at age 9 when my cousin asked me to sing at her wedding. What is your favourite song to sing? "Proud Mary" and "Blame it on the Boogie". What CD would your friends be surprised you own? A Christina Aguilera CD. Who in the music world do you think your style is most like? If anyone, I'd say Clay Aiken, but there are still a few differences. How would your friends describe you? Lovable, care-free, sensitive guy who's always there to give you a hug and a smile when you're feeling low. Besides performing, what other talents do you have? Having well-developed social skills and a bond with animals, mainly with those on the farm. What are your goals in life? To achieve my dreams of a career in performing and being able to touch people with my gift. My definition of a Canadian Idol is: Someone who represents a well-rounded Canadian whom, through work and doings, gives people strength and guides them to live life to its fullest. Who is your Canadian Idol? Shania Twain. Despite all the hardships she's faced, she made something of herself becoming a Canadian icon and Idol. Who in the Canadian Idol Top 11 did you identify with the most? I indentified most with Jenny Gear. I admired how she was not afraid to be the unique individual that she was. What are your greatest strengths entering this competition? My personality. I can infect someone with happiness and love for life and make almost anyone smile. What is your biggest fear regarding this competition? That I will not have enough opportunities where the judges can really see who I am and get to know the real me. If you don't make it on Canadian Idol, what will you do? I'll continue to reach for my dreams and goals to have a career in music or drama. How would your life change if you were to become Canadian Idol? So many more doors would open and I would have the opportunities I need to share and touch people with my music. |
