Toronto-based
reggae artist Blessed (Peter Skinner) scored a break-out urban radio hit
with "Love (African Woman)," which scored the smooth-voiced
singer a 2002 JUNO victory in this category. That track also won him international
recognition. Blessed has performed in Jamaica and opened for veteran crooner
Beres Hammond.

singer/songwriter Leroy 'Artist' Brown can boast over 30 years performing
experience and the respect of such legendary peers as Alton Ellis (who
discovered him) and Freddie MacGregor. He has released three albums and
numerous best-selling singles, won many Canadian Reggae Music Awards,
and notched two earlier JUNO nominations.
Dezzie Tease Me

Toronto-based Dezzie is a multi-faceted entertainer, delivering world-class
urban-flavored pop reggae. He won as Best Newcomer at the 1995 Canadian
Reggae Awards, and cites Bob Marley, Shaggy (for whom he has opened) and
the Beatles as influences on his eclectic and entertaining style.
Carl Henry Homie's Girl

Carl Henry is an artist fluent in many different musical genres. He has
a background in gospel and choir singing, and his R & B sound is always
smooth and melodic. His debut full-length disc RNB was very warmly received,
and received a JUNO nomination last year. Carl has also shared stages
with the likes of Ashanti and De La Soul.
Nana McLean Nana's Medley Part 2
Nana
McLean has been called "Canada's reggae diva." Her recording
career stretches back over 25 years, and she is a first-class entertainer.
A powerful balladeer, her take on reggae incorporates blues and r 'n b
elements. Nana won a JUNO Award in 1997 for her album Nana McLean - Collector's
Series.
