Barenaked Ladies

Since
forming in Scarborough in 1988, pop heroes Barenaked Ladies have conquered
the world to the tune of ten million plus sales. Their irresistible blend
of infectious melodies and lyrics that switch from humour to poignancy
with an easy flow is again exhibited on Everything To Everyone, their
first studio disc since 2000's much-loved Maroon.

Finger Eleven

Burlington,
Ontario rock band Finger Eleven have an aggressive and hard-edged sound
that also features strong melodies and musical dynamism. "We don't
believe in screams without melody," says singer Scott Anderson. Last
year's self-titled album was their third, following on from 1997's Tip
and 2000's JUNO-nominated breakthrough, The Greyest Of Blue Skies. Finger
Eleven toured Canada last year with Ozzy and Voivod.

La Chicane

Quebec
rockers La Chicane have had a huge impact in the last five years. Their
1999 debut CD, En Catiminie, sold an amazing 250,000 copies, and followup
Disparu went platinum. En't Nous Autres their third album, confirms their
popularity. Last year they were on the bill of the historic Rolling Stones
concert in Toronto.

Nickelback

With international sales of over 10 million copies, 2001s Silver Side
Up placed Vancouver-based hard rockers Nickelback in the rock elite.
That album featured one of the most-played singles in radio history,
"How You Remind Me." The band is back on top with their fourth
CD, The Long Road, already a double platinum smash here. "We've
pushed things further in every way possible," says mainman Chad
Kroeger of the release. Nickelback and Chad won a 2003 JUNO as Songwriter
Of The Year.

Our Lady Peace

Modern
rock band Our Lady Peace has sustained a large fan following by releasing
consistently adventurous yet accessible work. They won a Best Album JUNO
last year for their fifth release, Gravity, a record that spawned hit
singles "Somewhere Out There" and "Innocent." OLP's
second album, Clumsy, sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide, and reached
the rare diamond sales plateau here.
