Celine Dion
1 Fille: 4 Types

She is the best-selling artist of her generation, having sold an astonishing total of 150 million albums worldwide. Celine Dion returned from a two-year hiatus with last year's much-awaited release, A New Day Has Come. The title track promptly returned Celine to her familiar perch atop the charts, and the album showcased her mastery of such diverse styles as pop classics (Nat King Cole's "Nature Boy"), dramatic ballads, and up-tempo dance music. Dion's upcoming three-year engagement at Caesars Palace will cement her status as a performer par excellence.

This artist is also nominated for:
JUNO Fan Choice | Album of the Year | Artist of the Year

Garou
Reviens

Garou is a genuine superstar in the Francophone world. He first made an impact in the hit musical Notre Dame De Paris, and has matured into a truly original artist. His previous album, Seul, sold over 2.5 million copies, and Reviens has raced up the charts. A dynamic and eclectic work, it features collaborations with Aldo Nova, Romana Musumarra and Luc Plamondon.

Wilfred Le Bouthillier
Wilfred Le Bouthillier

Young singer Wilfred Le Bouthillier burst onto the scene in spectacular fashion recently as the grand victor in Star Academie, the top-rated Quebec equivalent of Canadian Idol. His self-titled debut album confirms his enormous potential, and it was an instant hot seller. The record was recorded in Montreal and Paris with producer Pierre Duchesne (Kevin Parent) and such ace musicians as Zachary Richard, one of Wilfred's idols.

Marie Chantal Toupin
Maudit Bordel

In less than a year of release, Marie Chantal Toupin's album, Maudit Bordel, has been certified platinum in Canada. The strong voiced rock 'n roller was inspired by the likes of Ginette Reno and Celine Dion, and is now writing her own spectacular success story. She was nominated for two L'ADISQ Awards, and a TV special on her was a ratings smash.
