The Rockit 88 Band
Too Much Fun
|
 |
Recognized as one of Toronto's premier Blues bands, The Rockit 88 Band’s new release, Too Much Fun is just that — a timeless collection of rocking blues tunes. Considered a ‘dream team’ of sorts for Bill King, the band is a pared-down rhythm section from Bill's Saturday Night Fish Fry the house band at RD's Barbeque and Blues for several months. King, who has played with the virtual ‘Who’s Who’ of Toronto’s blues community, leads on vocals and piano and is joined by guitarist Neil Chapman, bassist Artie Roth and drummer Kevin McKenzie. |

Harrison Kennedy
Sweet Taste
|
 |
Harrison
Kennedy is a Hamilton-born and raised singer/songwriter who grabbed international
fame as a member of ‘70s pop rock group The Chairman Of The Board
( the million-selling “Give Me Just A Little More Time,” “Patches”).
Kennedy also sang the chart-topping single “I‘m The Chairman”. He has developed into a
compelling songwriter with an acoustic-blues approach, while his ability as a vocal chameleon remains intact.

Harry Manx & Kevin Breit
Jubilee
|
 |
When
two guitar wizards unite, the results can be delightful. That is proven
by Jubilee, the debut collaboration of Harry Manx and Kevin Breit. They
met onstage at Owen Sound's Summerfolk festival, and musical sparks flew.
Harry is a successful solo artist and an ace on slide and Indian instrument
the mohan veena. Kevin is an in-demand guitarist for such stars as Norah
Jones and Cassandra Wilson, and leads the eclectic Sister Euclid. |
