Hutter, TanjaManitoba, Elmwood - Transcona, Green Party of Canada Tanja Hûtter graduated from the University of Manitoba with a B.A. specializing in International Relations, Political Science and German. Tanja’s approach to her work in the publishing industry is the same as her approach to life, “learn everything from the ground up.” Researcher, writer, editor and designer, her more noteworthy accomplishments include Associate Editor of the Encyclopedia of Natural Health (which won the 1998 Benjamin Franklin Award) and Managing Editor of the online art portal Artstar.com, a dynamic mega-website, with sophisticated e-commerce functionality, devoted to everything art: history, biography, education, consulting services, publications, artist resources and sales. Tanja is running in the Elmwood-Transcona riding because she believes every citizen should have a ballot with a Green Party option on election day. A strong supporter of electoral reform, it is her hope that, come the 40th General Election day we will have created a system of proportional representation to ensure that every vote counts.
