Lin, Nick

Nick Lin has been active for many years in the work for social justice, defence of the rights of national minorities and progressive politics, most notably with the Toronto Student Movement (Marxist-Leninist Party Club at the Univerity of Toronto). He joined the work for democratic renewal in 1999, when he ran as an independent candidate in the Ontario provincial election that year. He has since run as a candidate in the 2003 Ontario provincial election and the 2000 and 2004 federal election. Nick has a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, has worked for several years as a personal attendant for a woman with paraplegia and is currently training as a printer.
