Rodden, MarcellOntario, Toronto - Danforth, Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada Marcell Rodden is a political activist in Toronto and a student in Equity Studies at the University of Toronto. He joined the work for democratic renewal in 2004, standing as the Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada candidate in the federal election in the riding of Toronto--Danforth. Marcell has been active in the anti-racist, anti-war and anti-poverty movements. In 2005, he helped coordinate a campaign by the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty to allow Ontario Works recepients to receive an extra $250 per month in dietary funding from the provincial government.
