Ray Bonin was first elected to the House of Commons as the Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt in 1993. He was re-elected in 1997 and 2000.

Mr. Bonin has earned the respect of his colleagues. He was recently elected, by a unanimous vote, Chair of the Northern Ontario Caucus.

Mr. Bonin knows that it is a profound honour and privilege to represent the people of Nickel Belt.
