Has been a Director for the Haldimand-Norfolk Children's Aid Society, received an Honorary Life Membership.

Is a Director for the Dunnville and District Right to Life Committee.

Is a Director and Past President of the Haldimand Association for the Developmentally Challenged.

Steve and his wife Jenny, have 4 adult children
