Eliminated: Top 10

Austin Di Iulio is extremely proud of his home town of Mississauga, which is right next door to Toronto where he says "it really is Hollywood North and there are amazing opportunities for budding dancers, actors and musicians to hone their craft."

The 20 year-old contemporary dancer has had the opportunity to boogie alongside John Travolta and Zac Efron in the 2008 movie Hairspray. He has also had the chance to work with notable choreographers including Marty Kudelka, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE judge and choreographer Adam Shankman and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE choreographer and judge Tyce Diorio.

Austin is most proud of the fact that he chose to dance at a young age in spite of the stereotypes that surround male dancers. It has been the inspiration and support of his family that has kept him going. Austin is grateful to have his three sisters and younger brother cheering him on. His entire family is extremely proud and excited that he has made it into the Top 20 and just hope that he has a good time on stage.

Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Gregory Hines, Fred Astaire and John Travolta are among the diverse group of entertainers from which Austin derives inspiration. He believes they are all first and foremost entertainers and have contributed to how he interprets dance.

When asked what it will take to win, Austin said he will "need to have a focus and a passion that allows me to connect with others. Every time you step on the stage, you must dance as if you're dancing for your life." He credits his perseverance and determination for getting him this far in the competition.

No matter what the outcome, Austin's outlook on this experience is a positive one. "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity," he said.
