For 21 year-old Danny Lawn, making the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA Top 20 is a dream come true. "It was one of the most shocking but relieving moments of my life," says Danny, who is a competitive contemporary dancer also trained in hip-hop, jazz, ballet and acro.

The Brockville native is thrilled to embark on this amazing experience. Having already performed with pop stars Katy Perry and Kreesha Turner, Danny believes that his strong work ethic and personality have got him to this point in the competition and he is looking forward to the rest of the journey. Viewers can expect the expressive dancer to pour his heart out each week on the stage. Danny says you can't "waste time being safe in this competition; you need to continuously stay focused."

Danny admires SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA choreographer and special guest judge Blake McGrath for his hard work throughout his career. He says that in order to win he will have to "push himself harder than ever before and bring out his competitive side," while still having fun.

Danny would love to see SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE competitor and choreographer Travis Wall perform. This adventure-seeker spends his time off the dance floor cliff jumping, tubing, swimming and playing basketball. He has even tried his hand at skydiving!

Ironically enough, Danny is most nervous to perform a contemporary piece for the judges. "It is my style so I feel they will be harder on me," he says. Danny believes his family and dance instructors are his biggest support system and their constant encouragement will help him keep focused throughout the show.
