Jeff Dinan has travelled 45,000 kilometres, over 106 days, with the 2010 Torch Relay. After seeing "everything" along the way, one landmark stands out above all the rest: "There is one place in our vast land that stands out for me. I have never felt more Canadian than when I stood beside Terry Fox on a beautiful, cold winter morning overlooking the the Sleeping Giant and re-learning the Ojibwa lore from an old man who was there with his ancient dog, Scully."

Coralie Swaney sent this picture of Molly's Reach in her hometown of Gibson's, B.C. A landmark for many Canadians who watched the iconic Canadian TV show The Beachcombers, Swaney said she never tires of the "welcome back" message on the sign. She says: "The series, which wrapped up in 1990, lives on in the memories of several generations of Canadians and not a day goes by without seeing groups of people posing for their photo in front of this fondly remembered building."
