THE CANADIAN PRESS / Jonathan Hayward Canadian rowers David Calder and Scott Frandsen became the first Canadians to make the trip to the podium in Beijing. The duo crossed the finish line in six minutes 39.55 seconds to win a silver medal -- officially ending a dismal first week for Canada.
