Status: Destroyed
A little light on gadgets, the 2007 Aston Martin DBS V12 made its world debut in Casino Royale. Equipped only with a defibrillator, the DBS’ 6.0L V12 engine was all Bond needed to chase LeChiffre.

Movie: Die Another Day – 2002
Status: Classified
The Vanquish not only had a 450 horsepower V12 engine, but also came equipped with two under-hood auto-aiming machine guns, front firing rockets, under-chassis air cannons, adaptive camouflage and of course a spring-loaded ejection seat.

Movie: The World Is Not Enough – 1999
Status: Destroyed – cut in half
This rear-wheel drive convertible boasted a remote control driving system, ground-to-air missile, a “sonic” laser beam which allowed Bond to listen in on conversations and a Titanium plating and armour. But nothing saved the car from being cut by a Tree Saw.

Movie: Tomorrow Never Dies – 1997
Status: Destroyed – Returned to Avis Car Rental
Like the Z8 that followed, the 750iL was remote controlled via cellphone and came equipped metal tire spikes, tear gas dispensers, 12 missiles mounted under the sunroof and re-inflatable tires. It’s a nice match for the 5.4L V12 engine with the standard 5 speed automatic transmission.

Movie: GoldenEye – 1995
Status: Classified
The Z3 was equipped with a parachute breaking system, stinger missiles, all-points radar and an ejector seat. One of the more lightweight of the Bond cars, this one was powered by a 133 horsepower 1.9L I4 Engine and was last seen been driven by Bond’s American friend Jack Wade...with the warning to not push any of the buttons.

Movie: The Living Daylights – 1987
Status: Destroyed – Self-destructed in a snow ditch
The Aston was back for another run as Bond’s car. This little V8 muscle car came equipped with bullet proof windows, retractable ski outriggers for snow driving and cutting laser mounted in the hub caps. To add to the 400 horsepower engine, the Aston was also equipped with a rocket motor to give it that extra boost.

Movie: Never Say Never Again – 1983
Status: Classified
This was featured in a re-make of Thunderball and is not a true Bond Car, but this turbo was powered by a 90 horsepower I-4 Engine and only weighed 577.6 pounds. Of course that only include gas and oil, it didn't include the special heavy duty shocks, tire blockers to keep the bike upright in chases, and a rocket motor for jumping over cars.

Bond had two Lotus Esprit’s Turbo: A white one and a bronze one. The white Lotus came equipped with a self-destruct mechanism while the red one had hidden features that were only hinted at. This mid-engine rear wheel drive car was powered by a turbocharged 215 horsepower I4 engine.

Movie: The Spy Who Loved Me – 1977

The best-equipped Bond car: this rear-wheel drive 160 horsepower straight four car could do 217 km/h on the road and 10 knots underwater. The car featured a full “Underwater” kit, rear mounted concrete sprayer, surface to air missiles, underwater mines and harpoons for underwater combat.

Movie: The Man With the Golden Gun – 1974
Status: Unknown – presumed destroyed
Though not a Bond car, this is one Bond sure wish he had. Owned by ‘the man with the golden gun,’ this bronze coupe had a 220 horsepower V8 engine. Its hidden feature was the ability to fly, with a simple wing and jet engine attachment, it allowed the villian escape, leaving both Bond and his new friend, Sheriff JW Pepper, amazed.

Unlike the previous Aston Martin, and the ones that follow, this one lacked in the refinements. With its V8 400 horsepower engine, the only thing this car had special was a telescopic rifle hidden in the glove box.

Technically not a Bond car, this little two-seater was driven by Japanese S.I.S. agent Aki. This car came equipped with the latest in spying gadgetry from closed-circuit television system, to a cordless telephone, to a HiFi receiver, to a cassette player and a small colour TV.

The most iconic Bond car in existence, the Aston Martin DB5 had a 282 horsepower I-6 engine and was very well equipped. Some of the many features include: tire shredders, bulletproof windshields, a retractable bullet shield, a passenger ejector seat, a rear-mounted duel water cannon and a refrigerated glove box for storing a bottle of Bollinger.
