Wake up to the world of Canada AM, television's morning star and Canada's most watched national morning newsmagazine. Hosts Beverly Thomson and Marci Ien, along with Weather Anchor Jeff Hutcheson, are currently celebrating the series' 40th incredible broadcast year.
Canada AM gets viewers started with the latest local, national and international news, business, weather sports and entertainment. In addition to keeping the country up-to-speed on what is happening in the world, Canada AM regularly takes viewers out of the studio and across the country. Whether its through the regular segment, Breakfast with Jeff, or a cross-country road trip in a specially outfitted motor-home (Jeff's Ultimate Road Trip, 2002) or a five cities in five days cross country sprint undertaken by the whole team (Canada AM's Good Morning Tour, 2003), the team travels the country to give viewers a glimpse of their neighbours.
Canada AM continues to remain an informative, binding force for Canada. It is a unique blend of hard news and lifestyle stories, but all of these stories are about people and the pattern of their lives. All that plus interviews with top newsmakers, celebrities and musical stars.

While Branson's comments (and activities) are arrogant in a million different ways, Clark's response was admirable. She kept her sense of humour with her joke about Branson's brand-name and his bad pick-up line, showing why humour is often the best response to arrogance.
Canada AM is a production of CTV News, and is Canada’s most-watched morning news program.
