It’s a show-stopper of a week for the Season 4 episode of “Flashpoint” where Team One gets a hot call (literally!) to meet up with the fire captain who interrupted the attempted murder of a badly burned firefighter.

And things keep heating up as the team then finds the potential arsonist behind deadly fires. There’s revenge and potential suicide thrown into the mix and all the while, Sergeant Greg Parker is questioning his future as the leader of the team.

Whew!

And if that’s all a little stressful, you can unwind with hot cocoa and shortbread and watch the holiday episode of “Mike & Molly” and the stop motion special, “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”

Hollywood Icon and Academy Award®-winner of the Honorary-Award Fred Astaire (The Towering Inferno) narrates and sings the story of how Santa Claus and several Claus-related Christmas traditions came to be. This stop motion animation from 1970 is based on the hit Christmas song of the same name, which was introduced on radio by Eddie Cantor in 1934. Encore presentation airs Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV

9 p.m. – TWO AND A HALF MEN – “One False Move, Zimbabwe” – NEW EPISODE
Walden's mother (Mimi Rogers, MY BOYS) arrives and Alan (Jon Cryer) is smitten with her, even as she reveals a secret about Walden's (Ashton Kutcher) past that sends him into a downward spiral.

9:30 p.m. – MIKE & MOLLY – “Christmas Break” – NEW HOLIDAY EPISODE
When Molly (Melissa McCarthy) gets disappointing news at work, she is thrown into a funk that threatens to ruin Christmas.

Tuesday, Dec. 13

8 p.m. – FLASHPOINT – “Slow Burn” – SEASON FINALE 
During the season four finale, Team One races to a hospital when Fire Captain Simon Griggs (guest star Dylan Neal, Blood Ties) interrupts the attempted murder of a badly burned firefighter. When they corner the suspect, the team learns he’s behind a series of deadly fires in the neighbourhood. Meanwhile Fire Captain Simon Griggs is forced to make a horrific choice – one that pushes him to the edge of revenge and suicide. Parker (Enrico Colantoni), wrestling with his own decision about his future on Team One must convince this broken man to live.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

8 p.m. – THE X FACTOR – NEW 90-MINUTE EPISODE – LIVE
See who steps up their game as the remaining finalists continue to perform live in hopes of winning the $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony.

Thursday, Dec. 15

10 p.m. – THE MENTALIST – “Fugue in Red” – NEW EPISODE
During the search for a firefighter's killer, Jane (Simon Baker) is attacked and nearly drowned, resulting in a temporary memory loss and a return to his pre-CBI con man persona.

Friday, Dec. 16

9 p.m. – GRIMM – “Let Your Hair Down” – NEW EPISODE
A mysterious homicide deep in the woods leads to Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) reopening a long-aborted missing persons case. When Nick suspects this abducted person might be a feral creature, he asks Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) to help remind this wild child of her human nature.

Saturday, Dec. 17

8 p.m. – CTV MOVIE – ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS – HOLIDAY MOVIE (1985)
In Disney’s ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS, a young mother rediscovers the joy and beauty of Christmas, thanks to the unshakable faith of her six-year-old daughter. The 1985 holiday film stars Academy award-winning Mary Steenburgen (PARENTHOOD), Harry Dean Stanton (Pretty In Pink) and Canada’s own Sarah Polley (Away From Her).

Sunday, Dec. 18

9 p.m. – CTV MOVIE – THE CASE FOR CHRISTMAS – NEW HOLIDAY MOVIE (2011)
In the film THE CASE FOR CHRISTMAS, everyone is losing faith in Santa (George Buza, X Men), as he's being sued for ruining Christmas. Young lawyer Michael Sherman (Dean Cain, LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN) takes Santa on as his client to defend him against wealthy businessman Braxton Bennett (Barry Flatman, THE KENNEDYS). When it comes out that the law suit is all for Braxton's own financial gain, Michael helps save Christmas and finds love along the way.
