CTV.ca: What’s your favourite thing to do in the summer?
Ennis: I’m a big Blue Jays fan. They won two World Series in my lifetime so I kind of owe them. I’m unconditionally a Jays fan. I go to a bunch of ball games … I also like swimming in the lake.
CTV.ca: What was the best summer vacation you’ve ever taken?
Ennis: I’m from Turkey and I spent two months there when I was 11 years old with my dad’s family and then my mom’s family. I want to do it again so badly but I can’t because of work. I would love to live in Turkey for an entire summer.
CTV.ca: What’s your favourite summer song?
Ennis: I like “Summertime” by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.
CTV.ca: How will you be spending your summer this year?
Ennis: I’ll be doing a lot of yoga. Just stretching a lot. Just testing the tensile strength of my own body, just figuring out what different ways I can bend. It’s a journey … there’s going to be a lot of mumbling to myself and hopefully I won’t pull my groin.
CTV.ca: What’s your favourite flavour of ice cream?
Ennis: I just went to this place called Tuttimelon just outside of San Francisco. They had black sesame gelato there. It tasted like toasted sesame seeds. It was unbelievable.
