Go inside the world of a telepath with 'The Listener Online Experience'
Ever wonder what someone else is thinking? Toby Logan doesn't.
Now curious viewers can catch a glimpse of what it's like to live life as a telepath like Toby in "The Listener Online Experience," by watching people say one thing, while they're thinking another.
In the special viewing experience, characters from different episodes of "The Listener" talk about recent events, while viewers can pull a slider which gradually fades in what that character is really saying.
Set in a 360 degree panoramic recreation of Toronto's Dundas Square, the site will be refreshed weekly with interactive features, online exclusive video and previews of upcoming episodes.
Viewers can also ride a virtual subway train and read episode synopsis as they navigate the tunnels from station to station. Visiting the newsstand lets viewers flip through various magazines that contain profiles of the cast and characters.
A trip to the "Tech Shop" reveals exclusive video clips found only on "The Listener Online Experience." As always, fans can discuss "The Listener" on the forums at CTV.ca.
"The Listener Online Experience" was created by Shaftesbury's Digital Division Smokebomb Entertainment in conjunction with SPACE and CTV. Visitors can also check the "Listener" website during the weeks leading up to the broadcast for an exclusive sneak preview clip.
And if viewers want to make sure they have all the latest updates on "The Listener" and other CTV shows, they can download the "CTV Primetime Widget," and have a pipeline to CTV directly on their desktop.
"The Listener" premieres Wednesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on SPACE and at 10 p.m. ET on CTV (10 p.m. ET), immediately following a two-hour "So You Think You Can Dance".
Episode 2 premieres in its regular timeslot, Thursday, June 4 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on SPACE and at 10 p.m. ET on CTV
