This choreographer has been singled out for the second time for her work on “So You Think You Can Dance.”

After first choreographing three contemporary routines for the first season of “So You Think You Can Dance Canada,” Tookey provided routines for the fifth season of the US version of the series. In the sixth season of the US series, her second week routine, entitled “Fear,” set to “2 Steps Away” by Patti LaBelle," blew audiences away when it was performed by Kathryn McCormick and Jonathan "Legacy" Perez.

The routine earned Tookey her first Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Choreography.”

Now Tookey is back on the Emmy shortlist in 2011 for her work on “So You Think You Can Dance.”

She’s been nominated again in the “Outstanding Choreography” category for her season seven routines “Mad World” (performed by Billy Bell and Ade Obayomi), “Sundrenched World” (performed by Kent Boyd and Allison Holker) and “Heaven Is A Place On Earth” (performed by Kathryn McCormick and Robert Roldan).

She’s up against fellow “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographers Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Mandy Jo Moore, Tabitha Dumo and Napoleon Dumo.

“So You Think You Can Dance” hostess Cat Deeley also received a nomination in the category “Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program.”

While in Los Angeles, Edmonton native Tookey tells CTV.ca that she’s “so honored and excited to be nominated again this year alongside such amazing choreographers and friends!”

“I am also happy that Cat Deeley finally received her well-deserved nomination. It's a great day for ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’”

In addition to being a guest judge and choreographer for both “So You Think You Can Dance” and “So You Think You Can Dance Canada,” Tookey was the director for the 2009 tour of “So You Think You Can Dance Canada.” In the past she’s also worked with Justin Timberlake and Celine Dion, with whom she performed on “Oprah.”

Tookey comes from a family of dancers, including her mother, who is a dance teacher.
