Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters…or perhaps Castle and Beckett.

In a special Halloween episode of “Castle” (airing Monday, Oct. 24 at 10 pm ET on CTV), Castle and Beckett go Ghostbusters-style, confronting the possibility of paranormal foul play when a world renowned ghost hunter is mysteriously murdered.

There might not be slime, or proton packs as Castle and Beckett pick through the murder scene (a haunted house), but Beckett does declare, “I ain’t afraid of no ghost.”

For those hoping for a Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray or Marshmallow Man cameo, you might be disappointed, but if there’s one thing Castle does well, it’s play dress-up!

I’m hoping he’ll be able to top the “Firefly” shout out in the Season 2 Halloween episode when he dressed up as space cowboy, Captain Mal.

And “Castle” is not the only Halloween-themed show on CTV to keep you company while eating the mini chocolate bars you should be saving for the kids, or finishing up the finishing touches on your own costume.
