NEW YORK -- "American Idol" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe might have to print some new business cards after he receives a special honour at the 39th Annual International Emmy Awards Ceremony.

He says his business card reads "multi-Emmy loser" after being nominated six times for "Idol" for a U.S. Primetime Emmy without a win.

On Monday night, he'll be accepting the honorary International Emmy Founders Award in recognition of his work as a reality show innovator and global advocate for dance.

Lythgoe, who also produces "So You Think You Can Dance?," will be honoured at the awards ceremony in which 40 nominees from 20 countries will be vying for International Emmys in 10 categories.

British television productions have a leading seven nominations, followed by Brazil with six.
