Work keeps her busy and doesn’t offer her a lot of social time, but this Season Melanda decides to get a little closer with one of the doctors at Hope Zion, as a friendship starts budding into something more.
Glenda BraganzaBorn in Halifax and raised in Ottawa, Glenda attended Concordia University and earned a BFA with a Specialization in Theatre Performance. Glenda has performed on stages across Canada, and was recently seen in Don Quixote a co-production between Montreal's Centaur Theatre and Vancouver’s Arts Club. She has won the 2004 and 2010 Montreal English Critics’ Circle Award for Best Actress. Glenda is a founding member of Metachroma Theatre, a new company dedicated to the normalization of actors of color on stage.
Glenda's film and television credits include: Gemini-nominated CTV movie Tripping Wire starring Clark Johnson; NBC’s television special 10.5 Apocalypse with Kim Delaney; and the IFC series The Business. Glenda was recently seen as series regular Rani in the CBC sit-com Men With Brooms.
Glenda lives in Montreal with her husband Mike, with whom she enjoys an active lifestyle, as well as a passion for travel and the culinary arts.
