What is your favourite place to be in the whole world?
Australia. I like traveling as far away from home as I can be and still feel completely at home.
If you could be reincarnated, what would you come back as?
A polar bear.
Which three people, living or dead, would you have dinner with?
My mother, my father and my wife.
What was the inspiration for the song that appears on the show?
I actually wrote the lyrics when I was a teenager. But for some reason they just made sense with this melody so I brought them back. I guess it's about how powerless you can feel around one person based on how much you love them.
Do you have any pre-performance rituals or superstitions?
I eat Manuka honey with a spoon. About 3-4 spoonfuls.
What was the first album you ever owned?
Probably Guns and Roses’ “Appetite for Destruction.”

If you weren’t in a band, what would you be doing instead?
Orenda and I have been working together in bands for 20 years now. Lord knows what we'd be doing if not this.

Minimal, harmonious, sexy, sad.
What is your favourite place to be in the whole world?
For us it's more about who we're with. If we're with friends and family, anywhere is our favorite place.
If you could be reincarnated, what would you come back as?
Probably myself, so I could re-live some moments.
Which three people, living or dead, would you have dinner with?
I know Orenda would want to have dinner with Kurt Vonnegut. I'd like to meet Carole King. I think dinner with Michael Jackson would be something else.
What was the inspiration for the song that appears on the show?
This song is about fleeting moments of love. Learning to appreciate when something is only meant to be in that moment of time.
Do you have any pre-performance rituals or superstitions?
We always do a group hug and say, “What we do, we do the best that we can.”
Have you ever seen a ghost on tour? Do you believe in them?
Not on tour, but Orenda had a ghost in her house once. It made itself so present. It was one of the reasons her husband sold the house.

I would be creating in some capacity – making natural stone fountains, working as a novelist, TED Talk type speaker, art installation creator, all of the above, and more...

On the ocean, on a balmy day, with no human made noise, just natural sound.

I warm up for about 45 minutes before a show. Lots of humming, scales, lip burbles, and singing of others’ songs from easy to moderate. Then a 15 minute break. Then show time.

Do you believe in ghosts?
I don’t particularly believe in ghosts, but I do believe in the realm of the spirit. As one emerges in consciousness, one goes from body, to mind, to spirit – it’s a natural progression if not hampered by one’s body, mind, culture, or society.
