When we last saw our favourite Storybrooke characters, they were, dare I say, living happily ever after.

Mary Margaret and Emma had returned from Fairytale land, Charming woke up from his coma after a true love’s kiss from Snow, and Henry had his faith restored in his adopted mom Regina.

And even though Captain Hook and Cora were shown sailing in to town on the horizon, there was no way they could wreck this happy ending, right? Wrong.

When “Once Upon a Time” returns this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CTV, all of this newfound happiness is threatened, according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter.

*Spoilers Ahead

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis hinted in an interview that someone could wind up dead on the episode titled “The Cricket Game.”

"Death's a big deal," said Kitsis. He also told the site he still gets death threats for killing off Sheriff Graham (Jamie Dornan) in Season 1. (I guess we’re not the only ones who miss this dashing Huntsman).

A synopsis for the episode indicates that Regina is accused of murder, but Emma is the only one who thinks she might be innocent. Does that mean Regina has something to do with the death?

Hook is also out to get revenge on Rumpelstiltskin and according to Horowitz and Kitsis, viewers won’t have to wait long for the battle to begin.

Other things ahead for the season include Snow, Charming, Emma and Henry learning how to be a family and a possible romance between Emma and Hook.

"I don't know if she would stare at (Hook) and think he'd be a great father for Henry but he might be fun in Vegas,” said Kitsis.
