With shows nearing their mid-season, or season finales, things are ramping up on CTV this weekend. Fairytales can’t end happily ever after for everyone on “Once Upon A Time,” as David (aka John Doe) has to decide to either stay with Kathryn or leave her for Mary Margaret.

And that’s not all the relationship drama this weekend: On “Pan Am,” Ted gets Laura to help to try to make an old flame jealous, but the real drama here is that on Kate’s final mission as a courier, her life is put in danger (and in the preview, there are gun shots!!)

Things also get perilous in “The Amazing Race” as the four remaining teams head to Panama City, where they come face-to-face with their fears as they take in astonishing views of the city skyline.

But it’s not all high stakes drama – get your hot cocoa and cookies ready and curl up with the perfect holiday movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” on Saturday evening. Is there really a better way to kick off this festive month?
