For someone who spends so much time judging intricate dishes, Gordon Ramsay sure makes a lot of bread.

A judge on CTV’s “MasterChef,” Ramsay is the top-earning celebrity chef in the United States, and according to Forbes Magazine, no one else comes close. With a number of ratings-friendly primetime shows, a slew of Michelin-rated restaurants and a best-selling book on the shelves, the Scottish-born and British-raised cooking sensation has created a culinary empire.

According to Forbes’ list, Ramsay has a global income of $38 million, with a majority of his riches stemming from his three successful shows, including “MasterChef.” The runner-up is Rachel Ray, who has successfully parlayed stints on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” into hit shows of her own.
