After an earlier appearance on the series several years ago, Gloria Reuben is back on “Law & Order: SVU.”

According to TV Guide, the former star of “E.R.” will reprise her role as U.S. Attorney Christine Danielson.  The episode in which she appears will follow a case involving child slavery, where she’ll deputize Benson and Stabler as U.S. Marshals.

Rueben was born in Toronto and appeared on the long-running medical drama as Jeanie Boulet.

As for the upcoming twelfth season of “SVU,” the show’s set has been revamped after the production relocated from New Jersey to New York City. The series will also have a new ADA, played by Paula Patton.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is also scheduled for a guest starring appearance on the show this year.

“Law & Order: SVU” airs in Canada on CTV.
