The ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ doctors are fighting to save Seattle Grace but at what cost?
What’s Seattle Grace without Derek, Meredith, Cristina, Callie and Arizona?
That’s the question everyone will be asking when “Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on CTV.
At the end of last week’s episode, the airplane crash survivors all marched into a board meeting and quit at the same time with a secret plan to use their settlement money to buy the hospital. Owen, who was trying to get the hospital ready for sale to Pegasus, was stunned.
In a preview for tonight’s episode, titled “This is Why We Fight,” everyone is wondering what’s going to happen.
If the five doctors don’t sort this out in time and find a willing investor, will there even be a Seattle Grace to save?
“The hospital is falling apart . . . People are saying without a buyer, this whole place will go belly up in a month,” Karev says in the preview.
Dr. Alana Cahill, the physician adviser who is helping with the sale, is shown saying how Pegasus plans to buy Seattle Grace for parts and lay off its staff.
But Derek insists nobody’s going to lose their job.
“Everybody is,” Meredith counters.
With rumours flying and no answers to find, everyone from the interns to Bailey is speculating on what might happen.
It looks like not even Owen knows what’s going on.
“You lied to me!” he shouts to someone.
Is he yelling at Cristina? She’s already feeling guilty for not confiding in him about the plan to buy the hospital. Who knows what this could mean for their recently repaired relationship.
It could just be one of many casualties from the secret deal that was supposed to fix everything.
“Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CTV. Full episodes are also available online at CTV.ca.
