Party of Five: Neve Campbell joins the 'Grey's Anatomy' cast as one of Derek’s four sisters
Looks like Neve Campbell is back in a ‘Party of Five’ once again, but this time, instead of being one of the five Salinger siblings, she’s playing one of the Shepherd clan.
Kathleen Shepherd, is a psychiatrist who comes to visit Seattle after Derek’s just been dealt quite the blow – the death of McSteamy and that pesky numbness in his hand that could very well keep him out of the operating room, potentially forever.
McDreamy has four sisters – one still hasn’t been revealed, and then there’s Amelia (played by Caterina Scorsone), the neurosurgeon who works with his ex-wife Addison down in California and Nancy (played by Embeth Davitz), who appeared in Season 3 (and revealed she had also slept with Mark Sloane, just like Addison).
Let’s hope Neve’s character doesn’t have anything quite so dramatic up her sleeve – we’re not sure Derek could take much more!
There are no reports yet on how many episodes Campbell will appear in, but this Canadian actress is confirmed as having a recurring role in the hit medical drama.
“Grey's Anatomy” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CTV. Full episodes are also available online at CTV.ca.
