Looks like life is imitating art again.

After her character Callie wed her girlfriend Arizona last season on “Grey’s Anatomy,” Sara Ramirez is getting hitched. Reports have surfaced that Ramirez’s boyfriend Ryan Debolt proposed to her while they were on vacation in Paris last week.

Yep, Paris. Doesn’t get more romantic than that, does it?

However, unlike Callie, who wed for the second time on the series last season, this will be Ramirez’s first. What do you think the odds are Ramirez is thinking about getting a hold of the dress she wore on “Grey’s?” After all, it was a stunning gown, and as any bride knows, getting something to fit perfectly is a chore.

And hey, why not get Chandra Wilson to officiate the wedding, just like “Grey’s?” All joking aside, it will be interesting to see which of her “Grey’s” castmates will be in attendance when the couple sets a wedding date.

Ramirez, who was born in Mexico and later moved to California, is 35. Before “Grey’s Anatomy,” Ramirez appeared in Oscar winner “Chicago,” and earned a Tony for her appearance on Broadway in “Spamalot” alongside Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azaria.

Earlier this year Ramirez also released a self-titled EP, which included a cover of Brandi Carlile’s song “The Story,” which ranked on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Ramirez co-wrote the other three songs on the EP. The song was also featured on “Grey’s Anatomy: The Music Event,” which was the cast recording from the medical drama’s musical episode.

No date has currently been set for the wedding.

“Grey’s Anatomy” returns this fall to CTV, and full episodes from the last season are currently available online at CTV.ca. It’s expected that season eight will be the last for leads Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) and Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Derek Shepherd).

Ramirez joined “Grey’s Anatomy” in season two.
