It wouldn’t be a “Grey’s Anatomy” mid-season finale without an epic cliffhanger, and the folks at Seattle Grace left us with just that.

Will Richard’s wife Adele, who was vomiting copious amounts of blood pull through? Will Cristina and Owen go through with their divorce? And most pressing, will Bailey, who left Ben waiting at the altar to attend to Adele, end up saying “I do?”

In a sneak peek of the episode titled, “Things We Said Today,” that airs Thursday Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET, Ben stands in a tux in front all of his wedding guests. “My beautiful wife-to-be has been pulled into emergency surgery,” he says, with branches strung with twinkle lights behind him. “Drink, eat, and just as soon as we’re able, we’ll have a little wedding,” he adds looking more than slightly uncomfortable.

Cut to Ben confronting Bailey (in scrubs, not her white gown) in the halls of Seattle Grace. “I’m just so scared,” she admits. “I’m scared because I have so many things I want to do, things I want to be.”

But Ben cuts to the chase: “Do you love me?”

And of course the preview ends there. Does she love him? Or is the two-city, crazy schedule juggling enough to have her bail on the wedding?

They wouldn’t want to make the mistake Owen and Cristina made in getting hitched. “We took something beautiful and we put it in a box,” Owen says after showing Cristina the divorce papers. “We should never have gotten married in the first place.”

But Cristina isn’t sure they should be signing the papers.

“I’m done thinking about it,” Owen says. He wants “out of the box,” so they can stop hurting each other.

Is there any hope for either of these couples?

“Grey's Anatomy” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CTV. Full episodes are also available online at CTV.ca.
