“Braise the Lord,” the “Spicy Racks” have landed! Those are the clever names of the all-men and all-women barbecue teams (respectively) for “GCB”’s annual cook-off competition. While Carlene’s husband Ripp Cockburn is firm in his belief barbecuing is strictly a man’s game, Amanda Vaughn disagrees.

Find out how many Queen B points the GCBs earn as the women prove there’s more than one way to roast a pig (and the pig-headed) in Dallas. Nice!

Remember, we award points (1-3) to each woman based on how malicious her actions were in securing her role as a Queen B. We also take away points based on how nice the women play with each other because we all know, there can only be one ruling Queen at a time.

Amanda Vaughn
After Amanda learned the annual church barbecue competition was a “boy’s only” event, Amanda started her own “girls only” team (2 points). She intended to do everything on her own, or with the help of other women. She even refused help from her boyfriend Luke, who came by and offered to fix her grill in support of the women’s team (1 point). Despite the women and men in town doubting her, Amanda managed to serve the best brisket and won the competition (3 points).

Heather Cruz
Even though Heather was accused of being a gold-digger at church, Heather still blew off a handsome man because he was poor (1 point). However, after another chance meeting Heather realized she made the wrong decision. After repeatedly turning down Amanda’s pleas for help, Heather called up her friend and offered to join her barbecue team as she hoped it would increase her chances of making a second impression on her new man (2 points).

Carlene Cockburn
As open as Carlene claimed to be with Heather’s re-inclusion to their circle of friends, Carlene still held being single against Heather and denied her participation in festivities for the barbecue (1 point). She claimed they were for “wives only.” When Carlene discovered Amanda signed up an all-girls team for the cook-off, she bought all the meat in town to help husband Ripp’s team win (2 points).

When Amanda didn’t back down, Carlene organized an exclusive spa day for the women of the church the same day as the cook-off so no one would join Amanda’s team (2 points). As a last act of war, Carlene snuck into Amanda’s house and destroyed her prized brisket (3 points).

Carlene also found a loop hole in the restrictions against building a Christian-only set of condos: she struck a deal to build them on Native American soil, away from pesky U.S. laws and regulations (1 point). However, Ripp disagreed with the idea, and cancelled her plans without her knowledge. Upset with her husband, Carlene decided to bite the bullet and help Amanda win the competition (minus 3 points). She even offered Amanda all the briskets she was hording to help the women win (minus 2 points).

Cricket Caruth-Reilly
Cricket sat this episode out in terms of zingers, under-handedness and overall backstabbing. Instead her storyline focused on breeding the perfect race horse.  Cricket shared a smooch with the horse breeder Mason Massey, but since cheating on her gay husband is nothing new for her, no points.

Sharon Peacham
Sharon Peacham stepped up her “B” game this week and showed her husband she has what it takes to win the crown! After Zack donated a car as a prize for the church cook-off, Sharon realized it was not something their businesses could afford. Her solution was to join Amanda’s team (to her husband’s disapproval and Amanda’s suspicions) and make sure they win and take back the car (3 points).

During the cook-off, a man made lewd comments toward Sharon about her business (Losin’ It with Jesus) and the team name (Spicy Racks). Zack tried to stand up for Sharon and punched the man, but got punched out in return. Sharon defended her own honour and knocked the lewd man out with a metal canister from the cook-off (3 points).

Verdict: Sharon Peacham definitely has claws! It’s the first time Sharon has taken this weekly honour, and she deserves it. But can she hold onto it? Cricket already lost her position as Carlene’s main rival for the crown of Queen B, as Amanda and Carlene are TIED for first place. Next week marks the first season finale of “GCB,” and the last chance for the women to show each other who really calls the shots as we unveil the woman who’s earned the most amount of Queen B points!
