Heather proves nice girls can play dirty on ‘GCB’ in our latest Queen B tally!
As “GCB” approaches its season finale, we’ve decided to up the ante when it comes to deciding on the Queen B of Dallas. Instead of giving our GCBs a mere single point for each of their devious actions, we’re going to double (and even triple) the points for the most vindictive Queen B stunts!
One point will be awarded for basic attempts to discredit opponents: verbal assaults, zingers that take down the other women a peg or two, and other low-level efforts at humiliation.
Two points will be awarded for having that knack for always getting what you want, whether it’s public accusations, bringing to attention evidence of ill-intent (real or falsified) and other shots more vicious than a verbal assault but still retaining a level of self-respect for the manipulative Queen B.
And last but not least, three points are awarded to the woman who has complete disregard for her own integrity and reputation at the cost of taking down her enemies. She might be going down, but she’s not going alone.
Now that you know the new rules, check out how our favourite femme fatales faired under the new point system!
Amanda Vaughn
Once Amanda decided to direct the church musical, she knew she wouldn’t get it done unless she channeled her inner mean girl from high school. “Old Amanda” made her “GCB” debut this week as she went after her former victims one more time (1 point). She dug up Heather’s old play “The Miracles of Jesus” and forced her unwilling friend to use it for the church (1 point). “Old Amanda” then targeted the egos and insecurities of Cricket and Carlene and got them to play the roles she selected for them (2 points).
When Amanda realized she destroyed the whole production, “Old Amanda” set things right and let her enemies sling mud at her like she did to them in high school (minus 1 point).

Sharon Peacham
Sharon scored no Queen B points this week, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t lose any. The happy homemaker spent her time promoting her new Biblical diet plan (“nothing makes your body feel better than losin’ it with Jesus”). Sharon asked Gigi for help, and admitted the reason she needed her food business to succeed was because Zac’s car dealership wasn’t doing well and they needed the money (minus 1 point).

Carlene Cockburn
As soon as auditions were announced, Carlene set out to take the leading role. She knew Cricket also wanted the lead, and interrupted her audition and stole Cricket’s spotlight (2 points). When Amanda changed the roles and made Carlene the leper, she blackmailed Heather by withholding real estate listings from her until she rewrote her part (3 points). Carlene also pitted Amanda and Heather against each other when the pressure to accommodate Carlene and Cricket reached a boiling point (1 point).
However, she tried to take the higher road and refused to dump mud on Amanda when given the chance. Carlene eventually gave into temptation, but only after Amanda forced her hand, not because she had any desire for revenge (minus 1 point).
Afterwards, Carlene admitted why the spotlight was so important to her. She gave up her dream of being a movie star when she married Ripp (minus 1 point). She also apologized to Heather for blackmailing her (minus 1 point).
Carlene scored even more after finishing the final musical number despite crashing through the church’s stained glass windows and then landing in a heap on the floor (2 points). She wanted to show-up the other girls that badly.

Cricket Caruth-Reilly
In order for Cricket to secure a role in the play, she used her business contacts to leverage top notch special effects and technology in return for the leading role (3 points). When Amanda cast Cricket as the leper instead, Cricket quit the play and pulled her support (3 points). Finally, she didn’t hesitate for a moment at the chance to sling mud at Amanda (1 point).
However, she showed how good of a friend she could be by giving up the lead for Carlene’s sake after hearing her sob story about lost stardom (minus 1 point).

Heather Cruz
Once Heather was involved in the play, she tried to stay out of Amanda’s “Old Amanda” revival tactic. But she was caught right in the middle of all the problems Amanda caused, and called her out in church for being a mean girl (2 points). Instead of dumping mud on Amanda after Carlene and Cricket, Heather slung her bucket at Carlene as revenge for blackmailing her (3 points). When Carlene offered her an exclusive contract for selling her Christian condos, Heather demanded a higher commission for all of Carlene’s aggravation (2 points).

Verdict: Heather Cruz, welcome to the game! It’s no surprise Heather scored so high this week; she warned Amanda she didn’t want to revert back to their high school tactics, and did whatever she needed to do to survive. Cricket better watch out; even though she’s got the highest grand total so far, if Heather keeps up this pace she’ll be passing her in no time!
Standings (as of April 15, 2012):
Cricket Caruth-Reilly: 20 points
Carlene Cockburn: 16 points
Amanda Vaughn: 11 points
Heather Cruz: 7 points
Sharon Peacham: 6 points
