Toronto, ON (February 10, 2012) – The doctor is in the building! Two-time Emmy® Award-winning host Dr. Mehmet Oz of the Emmy® Award-winning “The Dr. Oz Show”  makes his debut appearance as co-host of “The Marilyn Denis Show” this coming Monday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. ET, live on CTV, CTV.ca and CTV Mobile. Dr. Oz joins Marilyn, Canada’s Queen of Daytime, to discuss the success of his show, share his best health advice, and co-host for the full hour.

Monday’s episode of ‘The Marilyn Denis Show’ kicks off with a sit-down interview as Dr. Oz discusses life as a husband, father, doctor and television host. Dr. Oz also shares his top health tips that viewers can incorporate in their lives right now.

For the rest of the show, Dr. Oz co-hosts with Marilyn and is joined by David Rocco, host of the television series ‘David Rocco’s Dolce Vita,’ who reveals a Valentine’s Day meal using libido-boosting foods. Then, Dr. Oz and Marilyn welcome top weight loss expert and best-selling author Dr. Melissa Hershberg who kicks off “Diets on Trial” week, giving viewers the verdict on the latest diets.  

Dr. Oz is the two-time Daytime Emmy® Award-winning host of the Daytime Emmy® Award-winning show ‘The Dr. Oz Show,’ which airs weekdays on CTV at 4 p.m. ET. As the Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University, he also directs the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and his research interests include heart replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complementary medicine and health care policy. ‘The Dr. Oz Show’ has been sold in more than 112 countries around the world. Dr. Oz has authored over 400 original publications, book chapters and medical books, and also performs more than 100 heart surgeries per year. Currently, he lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife Lisa of 26 years and their four children, Daphne, Arabella, Zoe and Oliver.
