LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Here comes the judge -- Paula Abdul.
After stints on "American Idol" and "The X Factor" Abdul has a new judging gig on "Dancing With the Stars."
But it will be for one night only.
Host Tom Bergeron announced Monday night Abdul will be a guest judge next week.
In a taped segment, Abdul says she's been sneaking in to watch "Dancing With the Stars" for years.
She adds that being a judge for a night is a "dream made in dancing heaven."
Abdul got her start as one of the dancers for the Los Angeles Lakers and became the choreographer for the dance team.
